The Best News Story You’ll Hear All Day

I think we can all agree that we need more good news in our daily lives, maybe now more than ever. Well, your prayers are answered. Although this didn’t just happen, I just found out about it today so I wanted to share it with you.

57-year-old Greg Thomas of Montgomery, Minnesota was diagnosed with stage 4 head and neck cancer. He had over 40 radiation and chemotherapy treatments, had all his teeth removed, and even had to have a feeding tube implanted in his stomach. Yet, despite all this, he was still told by his doctors that he should “start planning his funeral.”

After Greg got let go from his job, he and his dog would go on long walks everyday to pass the time.

On one of the walks, he and his dog “mags” stumbled upon a 150-year-old broken down church that had been closed for many years. Being a skilled carpenter, Greg found the man in charge of the property and asked if he could help restore the church to a functional state. The man agreed.

Over the next several months, with whatever energy he had, Greg did work on the church. Miraculously, as Greg was rebuilding the church, God was rebuilding him.

Unexplainably, as Greg was finishing the work on the building, he went into complete remission from the cancer. At the time of this news segment, he had been in remission for 3 years, totally defying what all the doctors thought was possible!!

I think you’ll really enjoy hearing (and seeing) more of the details of this truly uplifting story.
