Superstar Athlete Shares His Secret To Success

At only 26 years old, Bryson Dechambeau is one of the world’s youngest international golf champions. He is a 7-time PGA Tour winner, the 2020 U.S. Open Champion, and he is only the fifth player in history to win the NCAA Dl Championship and the U.S. Amateur in the same year. But achieving that level of success took a toll on his body.

In his early years Bryson suffered from back pain that limited his performance and his recovery. About...

The Hidden Cost of Freedom

I don't know about you, but holidays like Memorial Day really make me reflect on how blessed we are to live in America. There are so many countries whose people don't get to enjoy the freedom and liberties that we do, and because of that I am truly grateful to live here.

As a matter of fact, I had a reality check about this just last night while at the beach. A Ukrainian man came up to us after watching us baptize...

One Health Benefit of Summertime

I'm sure you've noticed that it is getting A LOT hotter outside. In my area, it seems like a switch was flipped this past week, and now it feels like we are cruising right into summer.

Now, although I'm not a huge fan of the humidity of the Florida summer, I do love that the sunlight is strong enough to give me a nice boost of Vitamin D without having to be outside for very long.

Not everyone...

The “Other” Pandemic That Is Exploding

I don't think you'll be surprised to hear that many people in America have been eating differently over the past 14 months. So much so, that according to the CDC, the obesity pandemic has been exploding. Between the anxiety, the loneliness, the boredom, and the feeling of "why bother to eat right when xyz is going on?", Americans have been eating so badly that 42% of us are now obese.

In fact, one study showed that 42% of people reported gaining...

Dance Your Way to a Younger Brain

Do you enjoy dancing? I sure do. There's something about a certain beat that just makes my body feel like it has to move. Can you relate? I know for me, one of the things that pulls me right up into a better mood is to crank my favorite music and go after it. Turns out my brain cells love it too.

This article was written by Dr. Don Colbert M.D. about the brain boosting benefits of dancing. I think...

The Closest I’ve Come To Being Resurrected…So Far

On this day when people all over the world are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I thought it'd be a good time to share with you my own little resurrection story. It's nowhere near as cool as His, but it's still worth telling.

In August of 2012, I went on a church camping trip to Cloudland Canyon State Park, located in a little mountain town called Rising Fawn, Georgia. It was amazing. We stayed in big group lodges, had meals together, worshipped together... Read more

My Body Didn’t Handle This Very Well

For the past 20 hours, I've felt a little "off." I've been having some bloating, some fatigue, some mood swings, and what many would refer to as "brain fog." I even have some neck pain that showed up out of the blue.

Like I tell my clients to do, when I notice unusual things like this, I try and figure out what may have contributed to it. Although I can't "prove" it, I think I know what happened.
